HOW IT WORKS

 

Vinyl Cut is a straightforward three step process. It requires a mix of technical knowledge and precise hands to be executed well.

1. Your design is machine cut into a roll of vinyl. A digital vector file is required.

2. The negative space in your design is removed by hand in a process we call "weeding."

3. The vinyl is carefully aligned and bonded to your garment with a heat press. Sign Vinyl stickers are instead set onto a transfer material ready for you to apply at your convenience.

Vinyl for apparel comes in a broad variety of colors and materials and is applied with a heat press for a permanant bond to fabric materials.


Sign Vinyl

Sign Vinyl is an all weather, durable, adhesive backed material perfect for walls, windows, and vehicles.


 

When should I use
Vinyl Cut?

Vinyl cut excells in two areas,

Specialty Materials: Classic vinyl is a soft colored synthetic material that folds and moves with your garmnet but provides a durable standout feeling. Many forms of decorative vinyl exists (such as felt and glitter) for effects that can't be acheived with ink or thread.

Unique Placement: Because your vinyl design is applied by hand, the machine imposed limitations on location do not apply!

Limitations

- Highly complex logos with small decorative elements or distressing may not be possible.

 

- Best for 1-2 colors (Each color must be printed and applied separately by hand).

 

- Fashion Vinyl can not be heat pressed into synthetic materials with a low melting point.

 

PRICING

Pricing your direct to garment order is simple! Because of Direct to Garment's flexible technology there are no set up fees, and we're able to print any high resolution image without art charges. That makes direct to garment the most economical option for low quantity print runs. The primary factor that governs the cost of your project ink, so the size of your print area and type of garment are key.

Vinyl is best used with a low complexity vector design. If you need a vector made for your design we're ready to help!

 

Vectorizing: 
(Optional)

Your design MUST be a vector in order for our vinyl cutting machine to read it. If your design or logo was created by a graphic designer, they may be able to provide you with a vector format.

 $24.99 (per hour)

The art fee for vectorizing is 24.99 an hour, with nearly all designs being completed in a single hour. This step is not required if you already have print ready vector files for your artwork.
