HOW IT WORKS

Vinyl cutting is a precise, three-step customization process that combines technical expertise with hands-on craftsmanship to deliver clean, professional results.

1. Design Cutting
Your design is machine-cut from a roll of vinyl using precision equipment. A digital vector file is required to ensure sharp edges and accurate detail.

2. Weeding
The excess vinyl is carefully removed by hand in a process known as weeding, leaving only the final design ready for application.

3. Application
The finished vinyl is aligned and permanently bonded to your garment using a professional heat press. For sign vinyl stickers, the design is transferred onto application tape, making it easy for you to apply when and where you need it.

Vinyl for apparel comes in a broad variety of colors and materials and is applied with a heat press for a permanant bond to fabric materials.


Sign Vinyl

Sign Vinyl is an all weather, durable, adhesive backed material perfect for walls, windows, and vehicles.

Vinyl Cut?

Vinyl cutting excels in two key areas:

Specialty Materials
Standard vinyl is a soft, colored synthetic material that moves and flexes with your garment while providing a durable, eye-catching finish. In addition to classic vinyl, a wide range of decorative options—such as felt, glitter, and specialty textures—are available for effects that can’t be achieved with ink or embroidery.

Unique Placement
Because vinyl designs are applied by hand, placement is far more flexible. This allows for customization in locations where traditional printing or embroidery may be limited, giving you greater creative freedom and control over the final look.

Limitations

- Highly complex logos with small decorative elements or distressing may not be possible.

 

- Best for 1-2 colors (Each color must be printed and applied separately by hand).

 

- Fashion Vinyl can not be heat pressed into synthetic materials with a low melting point.

 

PRICING

Pricing your direct to garment order is simple! Because of Direct to Garment's flexible technology there are no set up fees, and we're able to print any high resolution image without art charges. That makes direct to garment the most economical option for low quantity print runs. The primary factor that governs the cost of your project ink, so the size of your print area and type of garment are key.

Vinyl is best used with a low complexity vector design. If you need a vector made for your design we're ready to help!

 

Vectorizing: 
(Optional)

Your design MUST be a vector in order for our vinyl cutting machine to read it. If your design or logo was created by a graphic designer, they may be able to provide you with a vector format.

The art fee for vectorizing is 39.99 an hour, with nearly all designs being completed in a single hour. This step is not required if you already have print ready vector files for your artwork.
